I am desperately strugling and would appreciate any help at all. My father was adopted as a baby and has recently found out that his natural father served in the Royal Artillery during WW2 and was discharged in 1948. He had always been led to believe his natural father had died in the war. Through obtaining his birth certificate he has been able to establish a name for his father and subsequently receive information that he served with the Royal Artillery as a Gunner, was based at Bovington Camp in 1942 in 107/32 Battery. ( I'm not even sure what '107/32' relates to ). As he was adopted the Ministry of Defence in London will not provide him with any information and I cannot find any reference to '107/32' on the internet. We are both keen to establish any information regarding the action he would have seen during the war. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
