Alec or Alex Bonds

Does anyone have an ALEC [or Alex] BONDS in their ancestry? He was married to MARY JO __?__ at the time of basic training in Elizabethtown, KY , about 1944. Believe to have resided in Avon Park, FL during this time. He would have been born in the early 1900's and served in the United States Army in World War 2 during 1944/1945. Possibly served in the 2nd Armoured Division and/or the 6th Armoured Division in Germany.
