Thanks for your reply. I contacted them about a year ago. I received the mailing list for the associaton members who were in the 68th AIB C Co. I wrote individual letters to each of them. I received many letters containing info about the Company and the battle in which my cousin was wounded. Unfortunately, there was not anyone who specifically remembered him. Based upon info in one of the letters,I visited the US Military History section at the Carlisle Barricks and located the Chaplin's files which contained a copy of the General's condolence letter and info concerning the circumstances of my cousin's death. This info differed from the info I received from St.Louis. I have written for his deceased file and await a reply. My hope is that I will find someone who knew him who can tell me specifics about his service. Thanks for your interest.
