WWII - US Army -Unit Information - 24th Replacement Depot

Looking for information on the 24th Replacement Depot, U.S. Army - WWII.

The unit was in Italy and trained replacements for combat in rough terrain.

All the information I have found has pertained to Sen. Bob Dole's service in the unit.
