Jack - Your arithmetic is pretty good. I was born in 1911. Need my birth certificate? I not only remember the first Armistice I remember my pacifist father refusing to let me put dimes a a booklet to take to school to buy war bonds dollar by dollar. And learning how to knit so I could make some thing for the soldiers of that khaki yarn that was furnished to the women who would knit helmets, and mufflers for the soldiers. And how angry my father was because Wilson took us into the war after promising us that he would not.
I also remember a few more wars and I do NOT wish to have any more to remember and my health is GOOD. Mary
