Webmaster there is nothing wrong. Greeks don't have such surname. Takollari is surname from Permet region(South Albania). During late Ottoman days Turks had this policy of rubing one race against another. Ottomans considered Albanians of North Epirus Greek to suppress any kind of nationalistic movement by Albanians. To make it quick Sharren said that her grandfather studied in Turkey, and Turks are not familiar with the term orthodox Albanians. So when Turks think of Orthodox they think Greek which might explain why the -ides was added to the surname. To Turks Albanian=Muslim. My parents are from Permet region and Takolari does ring a bell.
To Sharen, if your grandfather considered himself Albanian just like the family knew him as than the question of his nationality ends there. I'm pretty sure Takollari is Albanian. There are many people from Permet with the surname Tako. And i remember someone with Nikollari.
