Hi Marg
Yeah I've been thinking that. Just have to decide which one to send for - I have my Grandmother's which didn't have what I was after, which was her father's place of birth, although it did have Cornwall, which I thought/knew anyway, but not the town/village. And his age was given as 36, which may or may not have been right -1852. I thought he was born circa 1847 - that from what may have been his railway record from the nsw records office in Kingswood - That Charles RICHARDS born about 1847 and retired 1917 and worked around the Newcastle and Hamilton areas seemed to fit - Now I don't know if that was him at all !!
Re the children; There were 4 other daughters and 2 sons - guess it's eenie meenie minie mo -
Thank you for your advice
Cheers
Char
