Hi Mandy I work as a librarian in an LDS library and we have the Qld indexes as listed in my previous reply. They are also available at the State Archives, some Brisbane libraries and Genealogy Societies. After 1914, they are rather time consuming to search as they are separated into births, marriages and deaths [ not combined] in 5 year blocks.
The indexes on the net under Qld bdm's only go up to 1914 and don't have the full dates. On reading their site, it doesn't state that you need the registration no. but at least the full date and details. The only birth I could find for Ellen Una Anderson was in 1911 with parents as David Anderson and Christina Ericson, ref B024641. The marriage to Albert Turner also had her as Ellen Una, not Ella. As the death indexes are only available to 1969, she probably died after then. Couldn't find anything that fitted for her on the Brisbane City Council grave search. Many people after this period were cremated.
The Qld State Archives have wills, school admission records, electoral rolls, immigration records etc. If I get the chance, I will have a look for you but I would need address's for the school and electoral rolls. Do you know around when they were living at Nudgee ?
