Helen, thank you for your research into my greatgrandfather's sister about whom I have just learnt. I would like to know about her arival in South Australia. Another sister was also in South Australia. Her name was Caroline Rebecca Morris. She married a William Snell and I have learnt about her family but would like to know when she arrived also. Their brother Andrew went to Bendigo where he was killed at 18 years of age. I do have his arrival on the boat from England. He arrived on the "Ann of Dundee" in January, 1855. They said his age was 11 years but I reckon it was 14. Sarah was 17 when she married Henry Smith. It seems an early age to migrate but their father died in 1845 which may have given reason for six of the siblings to migrate. I would be interested in finding any information on this family. thankyou so much on your efforts for me as I now live so far away. Margaret POrter.
