Hi No index avail in SA re divorces. Onle way of finding out is perhaps the purchase of their marriage certificate. My own grandparents certificate was stamped with the date of divorce across it.
Crowley died in Whyalla but was residing in Iron Knob at the time of his death. He is buried in the Whyalla Cemetery. Iron Knob if you are not aware is about 45 Km away from Whyalla. Iron ore was mined there and transported to BHP at Whyalla. Iron Knob was a mining town and not very big even in the boom times but of course much bigger than it is today. There are no other Crowley members buried in either Whyalla or Iron Knob so I wonder if he was married and if indeed someone just put that info on the death cert. Many men who worked the mines at the Knob were single or separated men. I reside in Whyalla so will have a look to see if there is a stone for him however in the area he is buried there are a lot of unmarked graves.
