Thanks Kellie for the look-ups.The info re the deaths is new, thanks, and much appreciated.
Concerning the BISA entry "1023 ALLINGAME * Joseph Stephen" the mention of Susannah Jane JONES (29.9.1875 -), is an error made by the compiler of that entry for the Index. It should read "Jane Jones" as Sussannah Jane Allighame was her niece. Caused a few dead leads I can tell you! Errors also occur in entries and ANDERSON, W J., my grt-grandfather where children of similar names are confused with non-family members.
I think I have the Allinghams OK (except for deaths as I do not have the CD that gives them.
I, too, have not been able to trace the complete record of the passenger list of the BUSSORAH MERCHANT. It appears that what is recorded on most of the CDs is the data gleaned from the "Register" which announced new arrivals. Not all passengers were included, apparently. The name of the ship comes from family, oral traditions.
Thanks for the help with death/burial entries.I have filed the BISA material OK.
