I suppose you've seen the reference to August (?) Klëz (?) under the first follow up under the Buchsfelde Society further down on this South Australian forum.
Something which might interest you is this.
"Buchfelde is a vineyard, the property of Dr. Schomberg, lying on the Gawler River, 4 miles W. of Gawler, and having an area of 5 acres. Dr. Schomberg makes a white wine from Madeira and Verdeilho, and a red wine from Mataro, both of which consist of excellent wines. There is also another vineyard of 3 acres closely adjacent, owned by Mr. Winckel, who makes good red wine from Mataro and Shiraz."
