WAINWRIGHT look up for: Sara McKeever – 7107 Sept. 2005.- Genealogy.com
George Wainwright is my great great grandfather, born 1804, possibly Bermuda, married Sarah Ann Dickison, on Feb. 17, 1831 in Bermuda. He was part owner of the McCallan/Wainwright shipyard in Bermuda. He died October 20, 1879 in Bermuda. Sarah died on August 17, 1869 in Bermuda. They had five children, two which lived to adulthood: Mary Elizabeth (who I descend from) and Thomas Morris. I am looking for George's parents and his ancestors. Is this George Wainwright related to John Wainwright, born about 1610 in England, died 1684 in Bermuda?
Bermud Settlers of the 17th Century by Mercer Page 231 Have you seen the will of John Wainwright Sr. of Warwick – 1684? It states that John Sr. has a son John (married to Hester nee STOWE) and a son George (who is married to the daughter of John DARRELL). If you wish I will type it all out for you – let me know.
