I don't have any notes on the parents of John Ingham, but a John Ingham b.abt.1740 would be a likely father as the first son of John & Esther Stowe Ingham was named John (b.1801). Their second son was named Bernard Albouy Ingham (b.1804).
I have not seriously worked these Bermuda families for several years so it takes me a while to study my notes & refresh my memory. One big difference I have with other researchers is the mother of the Joseph Stowe children. I have that Susannah Joell was only the mother of those born after 1766 as prior to that time she was married to Richard Robinson.
The will of Susannah's father, Solomon Joell, written in 1763 names daughter Susannah Robinson.
Will of Richard ROBINSON dated 16 May 1766, recorded 21 May 1766 Mariner of Pembroke, wife Susanna, brother (unamed, has children), sister Mary STOVELL Exec: none appointed Wit: John STOWE, John SMITH, Joseph WILLIAMS Admin of his estate to widow Susanna, inventory
Then Susannah's own will: Will of Susanna's Stowe, widow of Pembroke written 25 Feb 1811 & proved 3 Feb 1823 Ch:Richard Robinson STOWE and Martha STOWE Bro: Solomon JOELL Nphs JOELL: Solomon Stowe (s of Solomon), Richard, Thomas, Joseph Russell, Henry, & William Exec: nphs Richard JOELL, William JOELL Wit: Joseph J OUTERBRIDGE, John PLACE, Joseph CANTON (wit Canton & Place died by date of probate)
And then the wording of codicil of Joseph Stowe's will implies preference to the children of his living wife: "Names sons Solomon Joel Stowe, Richard Robinson Stowe and daughter Martha Stowe. Revokes bequests to children Joseph Stowe, John Stowe, Keturah wife of Benjamin Wainwright, Nathaniel Stowe. Names also children Hester Albouy, Alice Stowe, Margaret Stowe, Thomas Stowe and daughter Frances wife of Joseph Dill."
I suspect the first wife of Joseph Stowe & the mother of the older his children was also a Susannah, the dau of John Hutchings (yes, Capt John Hutchings of Norfolk VA whose mother was Amy Godfrey). Unfortunately, I no longer recall what exactly led me to suppose this. And it's entirely possible that Joseph Stowe had another even earlier wife (3 wives in all).
