He was my Great Great Grandfather and his widow and two surviving sons are buried near me. His widow, Mary Jane Warner Teas, drew a Confederate Widow's pension by application of August 3, 1893 filed in Faulkner County, Arkansas. Her youngest son James Franklin Teas is buried next to her near Conway, Arkansas. Her oldest son John Warner Teas is buried nearby with his family. The oldest child of John Samuel Teas and Mary Jane Warner Teas, a daughter, is buried in Collinga, CA. Her name was Mary Cordilia Teas Lynch. She was married to a Georgia Civil War veteran named William Jackson Lynch.
