Thank you ever so much, it certainly gives me something to work on. I have come across Alfred Gordon and Isabella before but your hard work has given me more info.

I have also found a mention of Arthur born 1868 in an Australian obitory whose father was Alfred and monther Eliza which I am also exploring.
