On the above website, I did find the death record of William McLarren. He died Nov 6, 1867 of Heart Disease in Argyle. He was age 64, born in Argyle son of Charles and jerusha.Informant was Benjamin McLarren. The other record that helped was the marriage record of William’s son Wellington.Wellington McLarren married in 1868 to Lydie Goodwin. The marriage record states that he was born in Argyle, son of William and Deborah.
I then checked the LDS site which is also free www.familysearch.org By doing a search on the information gleaned from above (William McLarren, resided Nova Scotia, married to Deborah, son of Charles) I got the following from a Massachusetts death record of his son William. William R. McLarren died in Gloucester, Massachusetts of Jan 13, 1908.Born 1835, Argyle, Nova Scotia, Canada.Father:William McLarrenMother:Deborah Spinney
