Many thanks to David Smith and William Hartley for your quick response. I have returned home from a trip to Norway guiding American relatives, so mine was not equally quick.
Nils Victor is the two year younger brother of Per(Peter) Anselm Neistroem(Nyström). We are expecting descendants to visit us next year so I'm checking what happened to Nils Victor if he stayed in Saskatchewan or if he returned to Sweden.
I think that the Sjöström family emigrated in 1892 but Nils Victor in 1902.The Sjöström family seem not to have any children? Perhaps he worked as a farmhand on the Sjöström farm.
I think it is possible that it is his parents that David Smith found in the marriage record. At least his mother- Their mother is called Anna Johanna Norlin born in 1854 Sept 29 -married Nystroem- So Johanna is OK
Their father is called Nils Anders Nyström born in 1859 February 8. They married in 1881 and Per Anselm Nyström is their first child and Nils Victor the second.
I wish I could read the marriage record of Nils Victor Nystroem- because there can't exist more than one.
Per Anselm's son Olie 2 years old in 1916 and he died in the Second World War when the Allied landed in France
