Her full name is Veronica Dorothy Verge, born 1/1/84 in Greenspond, Newfoundland, bound for Brooklyn, New York, gives her sister, Mrs. John Mummery, 1 Edwards Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, as her next of kin at home.
I also found the record of their original arrival in 1923 with Ethel with them. She was the eldest child, aged 15, at the time. Last of Woodside, gives William's sister-in-law, Susan Lang, 42 Sullivan Street, Halifax as next of kin at home. Bound for his sister, Isabella Moore, 300 Cumberland Street, Brooklyn.William indicates he was born in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland. Veronica says she was born in Greenport, and the kids were all born in Halifax.
Veronica and daughter Dorothy made a trip home as they returned to New York in 1926.
Veronica died 14 June 1965 and is buried in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn. William died 1 March 1959 and is also buried there.
