I'm very happy I could find her - it is a great feeling to be able to find those elusive folks - I have a few of those myself who I have not yet found.
Many folks from Britain came into Canada through Montreal, Halifax, St. John's etec. Many of them then stayed in the East, but many others made their way to the prairie provinces, or on to BC.
Some of my family did the same as your Jennie - came in through the Atlantic provinces, went to Manitoba and then on to B.C.
Finding her marriage was just a bit of luck - but through my own family I have found that marriages did not always take place where you would expect.
My grandfather came over from Scotland in 1908 - went to Manitoba where he lived for some time - married in Saskatchewan, but continued to live in Manitoba - I finally found out why - he was working on the farm owned by his future wife's father - and it was just over the border of Sask./Man. so when they married they did so at her home, then went to Winnipeg after marrying. He had just gotten a job there so was no longer living in the border town.
Please emailme with the other names and I will see what I can find for you.
Just give me as much as you know of them - approx birth years and places and if you know about when they came to Canada that could help also.
