Unfortunately the ages and the names of the daughters seemingly don't match up from one decade to the next. That needs clarifying. A Margaret first appears in the 1910 US Census and she is then 20 years old, so yes, she would have been born around 1889-90. The two census transcriptions show different dates for the father immigrating to America, 1880, 1884. In either case it islikely Margaret was born on the American side of the Atlantic.
The Margaret Rooke who died May 3, 1972 in Lantzville BC, is most likely not 'your ' Margaret, since the former's obit. in the Nanaimo Free Press, May 4 1972, page 22, says she was born in Ballymens Ireland and was predeceased by her husband Edwin in 1958. A surviving brother of hers is John Wilson in Ireland.
I searched for an Edwin Rooke BC Death Registration and found a Walter Edwin Rooke who was born in England, Mar.14,1882 and died in West Vancouver BC, Nov.8,1958. This Edwin's wife is Margaret nee Wilson.
A William Rourke who died Oct.17, 1957, in Sidney, BC is also not a candidate for your Ormand William Rooke.
