Arthur William McClintic This is my illusive Grandfather. It has taken me a long time to get information on him, but I'm finally getting a little. In a book belonging to my Grandmother, his birthdate is January 24, 1904. A birth certificate of his son, Robin William McClintic born January 28, 1923 has Arthur born in California. He lived with his wife, Marjerry (also known as Marjory, Marjorie, etc.) Isobel MacDonald on Farallone Islands, CA. It also states that at age 21, he was a Radio Operator. I am guessing that his position was tied to him being in the service...Army or Navy. I have two marriage dates for him to Marjerry in Vancouver, BC: the first is September 13, 1923 and then again, three months later on December 12, 1923. These records I located were in the Online British Columbia Marriage Index. (Reg. Number: 1923-09-259751 & 1923-09-259790 B.C. Archives Microfilm Number: B13745 GSU Microfilm Number: 2074227). His parents ran a boarding house in San Francisco, CA. I believe he died sometime in the 70's.
Marjerry Isobel McClintic (McDonald/MacDonald) Marjerry Isobel McClintic - McDonald/MacDonald was born in Canada on March 8, 1906 and died November 2, 1983 in Santa Clara, CA. Marjerry's Social Security # is 546-18-5451. Her maiden name was McDonald or MacDonald. Robin William McClintic Arthur & Marjerry, had two sons named Robin (nicknamed, Billy) & Donald McClintic. Robin's birth certificate says he was born on 01/28/1925 as Robin William McClintic and his mother's maiden name is MacDonald. He was born in Santa Cruz, CA. However, his death certificate states that his name is William Robin McClintic and that his mother's name is McDonald. He died on February 11, 1991 in Marin County, CA at the age of 66. His social security is 559-24-4314. Donald Arthur McClintic Arthur's second son, Donald Arthur McClintic was born on February 9, 1931 in San Francisco. Again, it has his mother's maiden name as MacDonald. He was last heard from the Santa Clara or Santa Cruz area of California about 1991. More info about Arthur William McClintic He was a bigamist. He married my grandmother, Eleanor Rose, three times illegally and bore several children with her. The last names that he gave his illigitimate children were: McDonald or MacDonald and Saunders. (He was still married to Marjerry Isobel McDonald....can you believe my Grandmother could marry this man, three times? Wonder what made him so irresistable?) He was an auto mechanic by trade. I heard he had been employed by Chevrolet somewhere in California.
Also, after my Grandmother, there was a red-headed woman that he may have married...legally or illegally, I don't know. If any of the above information sounds familiar, please contact me. You might have a link that could help me and not even know it. Thanks.
