Spoke with a man today in Ninette...said Dick and family used to live on a farm between the towns of Ninette and Belmont. They also resided right in the town of Ninette. Ninette is home to Pelican Lake and in those days, a Tuberculosis Sanitorium. Apparently, Dick and his wife both worked there; he was a carpenter but not sure in what capacity she had be employed.
Their son Raymond and possibly Francis attended school at Pelican Lake School...a small country school near their home when they lived on the farm. They later attended Ninette Public School; Turtle Mountain School Division.
This man who I spoke with had thought that Dick's wife's name Nina??? and that her ethnic origin was Ukranian.
At last report, Raymond was living in Winnipeg and it is believed he is still there. He had apparently been back to Ninette for a visit about 3 years ago...probably for the Ninette School Reunion.
