I am seeking information on the descendants of George and Margaret (Nelson) Sim. They emigrated to Canada in 1906 from Scotland and settled in Montreal. George was born in 1881 in Banff, Scotland and Margaret in 1884, also I believe in Scotland. They had four children: Margaret (1909), George (1911), James Leslie (1914) and Winnifred (1916). I have been able to establish that Winnifred married David Thomson Brown, pattern maker, son of James Andrew Brown and his wife Mary Chalmers, in 1938. Through Lovell's Montreal Directory, I have been able to establish that David and Winnifred lived at 377 Woodland Avenue, Verdun, from at least the mid-1960s until at least 1977-78, with David listed as a pattern maker throughout that time. Any information would be gratefully appreciated! Thanks.
