You didn't say if you had the baptism for Edwidge. She is listed in Quebec
Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Hedwige Neveu
Name: Hedwige Neveu
Event Year: 1844
Event: Naissance (Birth)
Place of Worship or Institution: St-Lin
It says:September 10, 1844, baptism Hedwige, born this day, of the marriage of Maxime Neveu, cultivator and Scholastique Lauzon of Set Anne. Sponsors Theophile Neveu and Victoire Chapelau. The father was absent.
You mentioned you though that Zephir and Edwidge were married between 1861 and 1871, - they are in the 1871 census together so that does show you are correct.
1871ST. JACQUES WARD, MONTREAL EAST, QUEBEC
Edouard, age 55, journalier
Nathalie, age 54
Angile, age 28
Dorins, age 24, forgerain
Joseph, age 20, cordonnier
Leocadie, age 17, apprentice couturier
Delima, age 15
Gelas, age 16
Zephir, age 27, cordonnier
Edwidge, age 26
all are shown born Quebec, all French, and all Catholic
So it seems likely that they were married in Montreal - I went back to look for their marriage using their first names only - still looking but here they are in 1881
1881ST. JAMES WARD, MONTREAL CITY, QUEBEC
Ziphirin, age 38, born Quebec
Edwige, age 37, born Quebec
Elie, age 12,born Quebec
I cannot read occupation for Zephirin as it is very faint. No children with them other than this child Elie.
I have not found them in 1891 Canada census, but they may have been in Michigan at that time. Here is a listing for what looks to be Hedwidge Maralle in 1894
Michigan State Census, 1894 - BAY COUNTY
Hedwidge, age 49, born Quebec
Haphele, age 50, born Quebec(spelling does not look like Zephir, but this is an index only, not the image so I don't know what the name would look like in the image) This is from ancestry.comI looked for the same census at familysearch.org and they have them listed as Zlaphite and Edwidge Maralle
but again no image of the record
I'm sorry I could not find anything more for you.
But I suspect this is the right couple which would show her as living in 1894.
