I am not realted but took a look at the PANB site. There is a birth cert. for a William George DOUGLAS, s/o Robert DOUGLAS and Annie FUDGE, b. 24 Sep 1883.
When you look up Robert DOUGLAS' death cert. on PANB, it lists the informant as son Wm. G. DOUGLAS and parents as Robert DOUGALS and Mary CAMPBELL, so I think your assumption is correct.Robert d. 14 Apr 1920 in Coldbrook which is on the eastern side of the city of Saint John now. It would be in the Parish of Simonds. Also Annie (nee FUDGE) died 24 Feb 1922 in Lakewood, which iss on the Loch Lomond Rd., just up over the hill from Coldbrook. The informant was again son Wm. G. DOUGLAS. Her parents are listed on the death cert. This is all on the PANB site and original documents are free to download.
As for churches in Loch Lomond, your safest bet would be to search the city of Saint John as they most likely would make the trek to the city to get married. That being said, I checked the marriages in the city registers and couldn't find one with an Annie FUDGE. St. Andrew and St David is a United church on Germain St. which is made up of the two churches which were separate then.
They are all buried at Fernhill Cem. so it might be worth your while to call them and ask for info. They may charge now but are very helpful.See their website at http://www.fernhillcemetery.ca/fernhill/http://www.fernhillcemetery.ca/fernhill/
