drowned Kennebecasis, 21st inst., Seth BENSON of Kings Co. while getting out of a woodboat into a canoe which upset. (The Kennebecasis River is where Gondola point is.)

So if Parnel(l) was born in the US around 1763 - 1770 they may have been married in NY before the Loyalists came to NB in 1783. There is no record of a marriage in NB but it was wilderness in those days and it may have happened here but not recorded.
