[Ellen] Albert Dawe of Vancouver, BC are only mention in one obituary, though records have them were both alive at the time. ...No death information on Selina Parsons whom married a Mr. French or Mrs. Robert Mercer of Boston, Mass.
Was Fannie married twice? First to a Samuel Parsons and producing children. Then Samuel dies... She remarried to Abram Menchions and then he dies. There is mention of Menchions children. Was Abram Menchions previously married? With Fannie it doesn't listed her as as a step-mom.
Friday, April 9, 1926 - Died April 8th, at Coley’s Point, SAMUEL, beloved husband of Fannie PARSONS, aged 72 years.Left to mourn are two daughters, Helen, residing in the U.S., and Mrs. Stephen Bradbury of Coley’s Pt.; three sons, Stuart, Allan and Sebastian, all of Coley’s Pt.Also three sisters, Mrs. Henry Mercer, Mrs. William Mosdell and Mrs. Abram Menchions, and one brother, Capt. John Parsons.Funeral takes place Saturday to the C. of E. cemetery.
Friday, July 31, 1931 - Passed peacefully away at French’s Cove, July 16th, after a lengthy illness, FANNIE, widow of the late Abram MENCHIONS.She was 87 years of age and left to mourn their sad loss are four sons, William, James and Albert residing at Vancouver, B.C., Arthur at home; two daughters, Mrs. Matthew Patten, Port de Grave and Mrs. (Capt.) Richard Badcock of this town.Also 22 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.Two brothers, Capt. John Parsons, M.H.A. of this town and William James of Vancouver, B.C. ; five sisters, Mrs. Mary A. Mosdell, Mrs. Selina French, Mrs. Henry Mercer, all of this town, Mrs. Robert Mercer of Boston, Mass. and Mrs. Capt. Albert Dawe of Vancouver, B.C.Funeral took place July 18th from her son’s residence, French’s Cove. Interment was made to the C. of E. cemetery.
