US WWI Draft Registration Card:
Herbert Swetland Bussey, b. 20 October 1875, aged 43, naturalized US citizen, carpenter for Louis J. Eldridge, Boston; next of kin is Mrs. Hattie H. Bussey, Randolph(?), Suffolk, Mass; dated 12 September 1918 at Town Hall, South Braintree, Mass.
He was naturalized on 28 September 1917 in Massachusetts; gave his birth info as 20 October 1875 in North River, Newfoundland; currently of Pond Street, Randolph. Wife's name Nettie.
The 1910 Census indicates he came to the US in 1895.
The Mass. Archives' sitehas a marriage of a Herbert S. Bussey in Boston in 1899.You can obtain a copy of the marriage record, which should contain his parents' names, for a very reasonable price:
