Regarding the burial of Samuel and Mary Ann Shepherd, a book entitled "Annals of the Forty" (which refers to Forty Mile Creek in Grimsby) says that they were buried in Mount Osborne Cemetery in Beamsville, about 7 miles from Grimsby. I looked around the cemetery and could not find them, although I found many other Shepherds: Samuel's older brother Peter, who lived from 1817-1898, along with his wife Mary and their son Abel who only lived from 1860-1889. Isaac Wellington Shepherd was also buried there along with his wife Elizabeth, and two young children Jennie and Fred. Hellen Zimmerman was buried there with her husband Robert and a daughter. Other brothers of Samuel Shepherd were buried in the Old Clinton Burying Grounds which is the township that Grimsby and Beamsville are in. I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could tell me where Sam and Mary Ann are buried. Thanks, Mark. P.S. Samuel's brothers that I know of were Alexander, Peter, John, Henry Jr. and he also had a sister Elizabeth who married John Weaver and they lived in Louth Township.
