Hi, Carolyn. Thank you for responding and offering to look these up. I do however, have that information and both say he was a "farmer." It is his obituary that says his condition and cause of death, was from years of "working over an emery stone and inhaling the dust."
His name was Thomas Niles and he lived on Conc. VI, Lot 23. He died Feb. 10, 1890. (His wife, Margaret, died one month later of "la grippe" or Russian flu in the epidemic apparently of 1889-1890.) If you come across any other information regarding them that might help me, I'd very much appreciate it.
