Carolyn, nicely done! I did know about the marriage of Catherine Coventry to George Thompson, he died a few years later and she re-married a William Bell. James and Jane, I am guessing, were probably her brother and sister-in-law. I had found the marriage of Elizabeth Coventry and Jacob Shook, interesting that they spelled her surname Country. I didn't know about little William James in 1872, I'm guessing he was the son of James, grandson of James Sr. Elizabeth Drone Coventry died way back in June of 1842, so I doubt there would be a death record for her. James died on July 20, 1874; there were death records then but I never could find one for him either. The only way that I even know their death dates is from find-a-grave.com. It has pictures of their graves and some dates are harder to read than others. James' second wife Mary Ann was on his grave but I couldn't make out her death date, only that her age was 39 years. As far as the rest of James and Elizabeth Drone Coventry's children and grandchildren, I think I have it pretty well in hand. There was a Coventry in Vancouver, B.C., one of the sons, who died on May 24, 1933 at the age of 98 yrs, 2 mos, and 11 days, having been born on March 13, 1835, son of James & Elizabeth Drone Coventry. Pretty amazing! I didn't try the scotlandspeople.gov.uk website yet but I will. Thanks for all your help!
