I took a look at the baptism for Joseph and it is pretty small writing, but I was able to make some of it out. I am getting better with reading French - Itook it in high school for 5 years and had forgotten much, but some has come back from reading a lot of Quebec entries.
February 25, 1827 baptism of Joseph , of legitimate marriage of ........Lavois and ............Margeau
I would be guessing at the parents names although the father looks like it starts with J, but does not look like it is Joseph - possibly Jean or Jesse or if the J is an I it could be Etienne? Mother is very hard to read - the surname may not be Margeau, could be Mangeau or Mangean or ?? Sponsors look like Jean B. Lavois and Catherine Raymond
I wish I could read it more clearly - easier to read the sponsors than the parents
There is also a baptism for a Vitale Lavois in same place1815, parents names look like Jean Baptis Lavois and Marie ..........Paissant
There is a death in Laprairie for an Etienne Levois who died in May Sponsors Prosper Lavois and Elizabeth Legrand
I see at the database where you found marriage for Robinson and Margret that there is a child Peggy born to mother Margaret in 1839 - father Robert deceased - could that be Robinson ?
I see that the fellow who oversees the database there is from Abbotsford, B.C., not too far from me.
I wonder why Robinson and Margret's marriage is not in the Drouin database?
I'm sorry I was not much help with the reading of Joseph's birth record.
If you have any other names you are looking for let me know and I will see what I can find.
