It seems to give at least theHEBREW version of the father’s name … still can’t tell if the original record has more than this …. http://www.synagoguescribes.com/sources.htmlhttp://www.synagoguescribes.com/sources.html
I note that Section 7 says that a lot of records are at the London Metropolitan Archives and there is a useful pdf guidance leaflet.
I note that another section suggests looking at the PCC wills held at the National Archives (explained on website).http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/wills.htmhttp://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/wills.htm These wills are downloadable for £3.60. Wondering if Esther Barnard’s mother might also have been an Esther and whether the following is relevant: Will of Esther Barnard, Widow of Rotherhithe , Surrey • Collection: Records of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury • Date range: 01 September 1808 - 01 September 1808 • Reference:PROB 11/1485/11 May be totally unrelated, but worth considering if you otherwise draw a blank.
