I just searched through previous postings on this website and discovered that in August 2011, you were given the same information about Hilma Perämäki, born 11.6.1882, Seinäjoki. And in your reply, you said "I think this is the right family."But apparently, you changed your mind, hence your latest posting.
It was not uncommon for Finns who came to this country with a name ending in mäki, to shorten their last name to Mäki.I have also found instances where the name Mäki was changed to Hill, which is the English translation of mäki from Finnish.
I'm not saying that Hilma Perämäki is your Hilma Mäki.But I looked quite a bit and she was the only person I found who met all the criteria for your Hilma.Aside from going to Connecticut, there is no information that would disqualify Hilma Perämäki as being Hilma Mäki, who married Einar Piispanen in Quincy, MA, 1904.
Good luck with your search.
