The paradox of jewish people is they are not traced in parish registers before Revolution and, after, they are registered as ordinary people.

With the exception of eastern provinces Alsace Lorraine (special registers for jewish)
The Nal Archives (sigle "AN") have published a guide of various sources to trace them departement by departement (cities by cities) and national records when they do exist.
(For instance: electoral rolls for consistory, name's change declaration in 1808 etc)
