I never have seen this name but just want to say this:
the greek names ending with ....is are often written .....es when abroad. Exemple: Michailidis becomes Michailides in the USA. Often greek names was changed a little for better immigration in the new country, also sometimes the immigration office wrote it wrong. My greek fathers name was with the letter gamma and becomes the letter j. All this is possible and so the last kind of spelling is perhaps not the good one. You can also go to the greek phone directory (white pages) to see if the name exists.
