I am looking for anyone who may know of an OLIBRICE SAINT-JEAN.
He was my great grandfather and was an important Sergeant that died in a Haitian Independence War around the early 1900s. I am not sure which war was it. He was born in Haiti most likely in the capitol which is named Port-au-Prince.
He married to CECILE PACOMBE. She was pregnant with my grand mother who goes by the name of LABACILE SAINT-JEAN when he died. Olibrice Saint-Jean died in war so there are might be army records with his name, I haven’t been able to find any so if anybody know anything it would be a great help.
That is all that I know about him. Please contact me if you know of this family. Thanks for Listening.
