I have a photograph of a pub named "Foley" in Dungarven, Waterford taken in the later part of the 19th Century. The photo belonged to my Grandmother, Ruth Cunningham, maiden name: Guiry. I believe that her father came from Dungarven. My sister saw the Pub recently on a visit to Dungarven. Another family photo that my Grandmother had shows a Foley Pub in Manhatten, New York. It was taken some time after the first one, less than 20 years. The family believes that there was aconnection of some sort with the Foley's, in Ireland and NYC.
