Thank you so much for the sites. I'll use them I feel certain since so many came from Ireland...in all my lines.
My information is sketchy since I just began trying to prove the 'tradition' of the lineage. By 1850 the 5 Siblings entered Quebec and then, at some point to Montreal and were in the USA Kentucky, Ohio, Mo then Kansas.
William b.Nov. between 1815-28 IrelandThis seems a huge uncertain span of time. Cornelius b. 1830 Tipperary Co Ireland d. 1897 Ks Thomas Stephen b.about 1830 Tipperary Co Ireland. I don't know if they are twins or just wrong dates given to me or actually born at opposite ends of the year, January& Dec. Michael unknown DOB but I think 1835. Honorah (NOT Bridgit as I posted) b. about 1840 Tipperary Co Ireland. This does NOT make sense if she stayed in Ky or Ohio, she'd only be about 17.
From the history, these families may have immigrated together: McNamara, Donnelly, Shinners, Kelly, Halloran Gilgannon and Brennan. There were several marriages with these lines.
As to the naming pattern, I think William is the logical name but I am not positive. We have several Roberts and Patricks in the line.
Again, thank you for your help.I think the sites will also help me confirm.
