Hi Kate, The certificate gave a place for the names but they were not filled in.My great Aunt Roselia filled in the certificate and she put her grandparents place of birth as OH.I know it was Ireland. "Nana" was sharp as a whip but also someone who had a hundred thoughts in her head at one time.I have sent to Covington for Charles' death certificate.I did see the family search info on Francis and Sarah Boyd with parental info.I also found out that Charles Sr was in Covington; the family went there in the 1870's.I have checked with the Catholic Genealogy expert, Tom Ward to look up Charles Sr. and Rose's death. I had talked to Tom before and he said that St. Mary's Cathedral did not keep funeral records until after 1910 so I suggested he look at the Cathedral Basicila of the Assumption which you had given me as the place that all of the children were baptised.Waiting to hear. I have put questions out on my other grandparents the Connells and have had quite a surprise - my g grandfather Denis Connell was one of 13 children born to John and Mary Connell in Ireland. Now I really have some sorting out to do.I have to get onto Ancsetry for ship passenger lists - I have a 3 month Ancestry membership Disc but I can't seem to get my hand to put it in the computer - downloading, saving to disc, saving to desktop confuses me.I will do it this week though - it is a promise I have made, again! Thanks for contacting me - I missed hearing from ou. Carolyn - also known as "Tweet" - a nickname given to me by my grandfather Connell.
