Hi Kathleen :) Thank you for the info! Some in the fam have not been 100% that the other children are Michael & Mary's (as there are several other Boyle families in the G. Boston area at the time also with children with some of those names, even a few with a Micheal & Mary Boyle as parents and several Michaels' with fathers William & Patrick;just don't know who is who at the moment), but I now think they (the other kids I listed in my previous message) might be. (I found Mary Shea Boyle's obit in the Boston Globe of 1891-she was residing and her funeral was at 9 Emerald St at the residence of her son in Law J.W. Beamis (tells me that one of her daughters married, aside from Margaret (my g.g.grandma).It confirms her being born in Kilmallock, Limerick, IRE- (Where the same parents listed on her death record lived during the time of her birth)The obit also stated that St. Louis MO & Louisville KY paper to please copy; tells me that Mary Shea Boyle had family (either hers or through Michael)in those other cities?
Regarding the Death Record of Michael Boyle in 1888. Not sure that is my michael?-I also found in Boston Globe 1888 a short piece on : "Body of Michael Boyle Found" it stated he was 80 years old and had been missing. He left a widow and two children according to the article; either it IS my Michael and no one notified the paper he had other children? or only two of his children were residing locally at the time? or it isn't my Michael Boyle. The Tree you found on ancestry with that death date for him was probably mine ( I have a few as do my cousins) and I inputed the info trying to see if Ancestry would glean any other hint but no joy-we're just not sure. (Thanks for the messages btw :) I greatly appreciate the help!
The record with that Patrick with a Reardon Boarder is of great interest to me :) as Mary's mother was a Reardon; perhaps a Reardon Cousin? Didn't find that the last time I was on Familysearch (love that site:) Thus far the only death records we have for Michael & Mary's children (John H., Margaret, & William) just state that they were born in Ireland to Michael Boyle and Mary Shea (sometimes spelled Shay) unfourtunately they don't say where in Ireland.
On some census's I found that are likely Michael & family; some say his birth year is 1805, 1810, etc. I know that Census records are not always accurate with the finer details but just trying to make sure I got my info correct; I don't want to add in family that isn't his and accidentally connect with a wrong tree or line; done that in the past and it is a mess to work out. Again thanks for the help and those records! ~Renee LadyAlaise@gmail.com
