Thanks for reply. My Patrick is from NYC, I have his Death Record from April 12 1912 ( just realized 100 years ago). It was compromised as his age was over 15 years younger and his length in US as well, but the family lived at the the same address for close to 60 years and his first born son was a Thomas as well. I have birth records for 2 children in 1867 and 1871 which its indicated Patrick, himself was the informant. I have his son Thomas's death certificate and my Great Grandmother's Baptismal and Wedding Certificate. Every Census from 1850 till 1910 and a pluethra of NYC Directories, which I can match up census areas to for 1850 and 1860. I have one sibling John conflicting if he is younger or older but he and Patrick are a year or two apart at most, they came over together, found them on 1850 census in NYC and still living together in 1855. There maybe an older sister by the name of Mary from 1850 census who was 30 so she could be an Aunt, they did not come over with her. John named his first son Thomas but I can't find anything on his Grandkids. I, actually think that maybe my GGG Thomas may have been an Arthur Thomas and preferred going by his middle name. The name Arthur Ronan even now is uncommon. Been scouring 1940 images hoping to find my Ronans but they left that family home in 1930.
