There’s a couple of Luke Murrays listed in Griffiths Valuation in 1857, both in the civil parish of Bumlin (RC parish of Strokestown). Both small farmers. One lived in the townland of Garryglass and the other in Graffoge. Both these townlands are adjacent to Gorttoose which you mentioned in your other post. Presumably Luke is a family name and these Lukes in Ireland in 1857 are probably related to the Luke who went to the US. So I would search the parish registered for his family.
