From information that you had given me earlier (on this thread) I found all those other pages to the census and not just the one that enumerated the family. That was very exciting!
And - yes - I found that in 1901 they were the 5th enumeration in their area and in the 1911 enumeration they were the 40th . . . . not an address at all.
It was also very interesting to find that in 1901 they lived in a two room house with 6 inhabitants while next to them (and the property owner?) lived another family in a 22 room house also with 6 inhabitants.
No wonder the family sent some of the kids off to America! I'm not sure in the end it was a huge improvement if they didn't have specific skills. Especially since the daughters were Catholic Irish in Boston - unfortunately not a happy place to be for them.
Thank you again for your help. This is fun! I always knew that eventually I would have to learn the techniques for searching for ancestors in Ireland (and Scotland). It's a whole new thing and thank goodness for people like you who are there to help!
