This is absolutely fantastic - there is so much information! Thank you so much. If I could repay you somehow I would.
I think I got Michael O'Driscoll from just my methods of deduction - though how successful that has been is yet to be seen.
My Irish family are all over in England now, I've never been to Cork and my Grandma (Margaret Griffin) is very old and the last alive. My uncle barely remembers anything he was told throughout his childhood - other than her siblings name s-so all I really have on them is that the family were definitely from Cork - predominantly Cobh.
But that really doesn't help because there are so many families there with that name.
I do know however that Kathleen was definitely her name, and that she died when my grandma was about 12 years old (this is all from people's vague memories as well) so that would have been around 1944 (approximately) - Timothy went onto live a lot longer than her.
Nobody can remember the cause of death, and it's too upsetting to ask my grandma about. It could have been an illness, the war or anything. Having said that I can't find her death record - so these dates may have got mixed up.
The information you have given me is absolutely fantastic - thank you so much.
