Hi Paul no news for you but I live near Gormanstown in Meath & wonder did you check the following sites for info which is a long shot, 1st the Flax Growers list of 1796 shows 1 Gorman in the town land you mention but the two Fays shown are about 20 miles away, remember this only lists farmers who grew flax. If you have already checked there are very little except the Tithe Applottment books which may go online soon. Circa 1831 and the Valuation of land but if they owned land only I think.
