WARNING! Irish Families.con - UPDATE
Months ago, I ordered the "book" "Families of County Down" from Irish Families.com. After finding this "book" was genealogically worthless, I complained to Irish Families.com and, after much debate, was told I should send it back for a refund. I did, and many months later I am still waiting for my refund.
Meanwhile, in today's mail, I received an offer to buy more of the same worthless junk from these people, addressed to "Dear Patrons."
Everything this man (Michael C. O'Laughlin) "publishes" consists of nothing more than generic lists of surnames without any other data. That's what the County Down book was, anyway, and I am sure his other material is no different. Irish Families.com is no different than all the vendors of bogus pedigrees, coats-of-arms and other fallacious drivel being hawked to take advantage of genealogists. If you receive any mailings from this outfit, THROW THEM IN THE TRASH!
