Gallogly, Galoohly
Hi,
Is anyone familiar with this name in Leitrim?I supposedly is also a variant of Ingoldsby.I am looking for a Felix and Ellen who had a daughter Ellen a/k/a Nellie in 1875.She may have married a Reilley then went to the states and evenutally married a Walter Kelley. There is also a possibility that she had a sister Rose who was a nurse and married a man named Howarth in the states. One of my cousins thought she remembered Lehman as the name of where they were from and I cannot find that name at all. However, I have found on the NAtional Archivesof Ireland a couple of Felix Galloglys in Leitrim and none in any of the other counties.
Thanks,
Kathleen
