Re: Hugh FAGAN & Mary HANRATTY (c. 1821- ? ) --- Do you know them?
I search the Irish Family History Foundation's database. It contains 12,000,000 surviving rcds for abt 65% of Irish counties. Rcds B4 1840 are increasingly sparse, B4 1800 rare.

For Hugh Fagan B ???? in Meath, the closest date I can find to your 1821 estimate is in 1816. There are two rcds for this yr. Both rcds have father's named William. I think these are duplicate rcds.
For Mary Hanratty B ditto, the earliest B date is 1823. The father's forename is John.
For a Mary/Hugh marriage 1844 +/- 4 yrs, I found an M rcd for 1840 for Hugh, but not a corresponding rcd for Mary. They may have married elsewhere.
For Mary Fagan B 1849 +/- 1 yr, I found 6 B rcds: 1848, 2-1849, & 3-1850.
For Edward Fagan B 1851 ditto, I found 2 B rcds: 1850 & 1852.
For Ann Fagan B 1855 ditto, I found 4 B rcds: 2-1854, 1855, and 1856.
Will leave it to you to see if there is a common parish for the birth/baptisms for the children.
Google the Foundation's name to lead you to this database. Pls post your search results to my genforum msg.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
